If you’ve got a ticket in the Arthur Wait stand for the Stoke match, be sure to take a cap/ dark glasses - the low sun will be unforgiving. The linesman on that side of play will do well to do likewise

Most people in the Arthur have season tickets, will have been to the games this season and probably many years' worth of games. Was your recommendation aimed at newcomers who don't know the alignment of Norwood to Ra?

Thanks for that info- it's all to easy to forget that the sun does occasionally shine in November. I don't remember when the last time it shone on a November Saturday afternoon between 3 and 5 when we played at home. Having moved further forward since last season this is actually very helpful. Thanks

Thanks aolcpfc. I have memories of last seaon’s fixture v Sunderland. Not sure why I went home with a headache - was it the low sun or the Palace performance? I recall the lineswoman was really struggling with the glare - she commented on it later.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Shade alert for those in the main stand.' by Midlands Eagle Due to the sun not shining on supporters in the main stand, I recommend wrapping up warm cause it will be brass monkeys.

Let's be honest, being unable to see everything that happens on the pitch at Selhurst these days is probably an advantage. Bring on the blazing orb (and a shock Benteke hat-trick of course).
