Assuming we are going to buy 2 or 3 players in january, we are going to have to get rid of 1 or 2 as wd currently have a squad of 24. Judging by the summer window, it seems our fringe players aren't that attractive to other teams, which means we'll have to either sell a 'decent' player or 2, or pay up a couple of contracts. What do you reckon?

Don't name Delaney in the 25?

We can buy as many players as we like, just can't name more than 25 in the squad. Take your pick which ones would miss out, but it doesn't really matter.

Although as someone else has said, rumours are that Jimmy Mac is off home to Scotland. Personally I'd keep him in the squad if we're not clear of the drop by Xmas.

I think we may sell some of those who are out of contract in Summer.I think we will offer contracts to McArthur, Cabaye,Ward, Kelly and Possibly Hennessey. I think all 5 will either want to wait or say no. So any of these could go. If we get takers Sako, Lee and Lapado will go. Delaney and Speroni -Former will retire, Latter may get 1 year extension. Of the others I can see KaiKai leaving possibly on Loan and Mutch if a buyer can be found. On plus side if we are starting to get results I thin we will try to get RLC on a permanent, Chelsea will play hard ball but I think he will want to join us and they will sell.
