Obviously liverpool in the semi final at villa is my outstanding memory, but taking the north bank at highbury after they were taunting us in the clock end was nearly as good back in the day, and qpr away in the quarters after terry venables left us and clive allen stuck his finger up after scoring and running to our end, only to see the fans flooding onto the pitch were great days out,,,but liverpool for the sheer unexpected result and first live fa cup game on bbc for the nation to see,,priceless!

First live FA Cup semi wasn't it, not first live fa cup match? I remember expecting the thrashing the moment I women up at stupid o clock to get one of the 4 or 5 10am special trains from Euston. Sudden change of possibilities after HT once Pembo nudged the ball down the wing and raced after it. Coppell was and is a smart scouser.

personally, cardiff, 2004 vs west ham in the play off final. It was so busy, the streets were packed with palace fans and we all jus tgot on, had a great time, playing footy in the street, hoofing balls every where, i was tipsy and enjoying the buzz, great atmosphere. We all drove up in a s***ty 12 seater mini van and it yeah.. great day. I also loved place v vancouver, small section of palace fans in the pub, sunny day.. felt like 'normality' - seeing how i live there now.

End of 2001 v Portsmouth (followed by Stockport). Great games. Dean Austin who up until those games I thought was utter sh@t played incredibly and showed huge spirit. I actually only went to the Pompy game. I watched the Stockport game on TV as I was in court the following day on a misdemeanour and thought I was going away for a while. Little did I know that 24 hours later Palace would still be up and I would still be out! COYP
