I for one am quite confident that we will stay up based on our recent performances and our next 8 fixtures but if we stay up who will go down this season? Huddersfield and Brighton are going along quite nicely, Burnley and Watford have had great starts to the season, it’s unlikely that Everton or West Ham will be relegated so apart from Swansea who do you reckon? Stoke maybe or West Brom? I’d probably go with those three but I expect Huddersfield to fall away as the season goes on. Who would be your three?

Interestingly, Swansea are currently tied with us as the most likely relegation candidates. Then Huddersfield, West Ham, West Brom, Bournemouth, Brighton. Can definitely see Swansea going down; maybe Bournemouth, and West Brom if they sack Pulis (who, of course, could then go and rescue someone else). But really, you'd have to be brave to say we're not going to be one of the three.

Personally have a feeling the wheels will come off Newcastle, they really haven't a great squad and can't see them spending money in the window. I think Rafa has a harder job this year then the year he failed to keep them up, albeit he has the whole season to work his magic. I suspect it won't be enough. I would add that i'm not a 100% certain West Ham are gonna pull clear. Their manager is on the brink of the sack and rumors suggest David Moyes may get the post. Now that might work out, but personally I think it'd be a shocking appointment and could back fire badly. Also on paper West Ham have played fairly easy games so far and as such have a worse set of games coming up.. I can see them getting sucked in to trouble its weather they can then get back out of it by season end. If Everton appoint Dyche then possibly Burnley will get sucked in, but in honesty i think he's done enough for them to be get to safety this year. Stoke and Southampton both look dire and IMO there league position flatters them. I wonder if either have fight in them and wonder if either or both may get sucked in to the scrap. So my shout is any of the six below., but most likely the last three.

Often the teams that come up ride the crest of the wave before collapsing in the second half of the season. I've seen Newcastle three times this season and each time I've been amazed they've got anything from the game. If Benitez isn't backed in January I could see him leaving. West Ham on paper should be fine, but again they've looked awful each time I've seen them. Burnley, in my opinion, are where they are purely thanks to Dyche and some good fortune. If that runs out and Dyche leaves they could well plummet. I think Everton will finish mid-table unless they appoint FdB. Bournemouth could be in trouble this year, despite Saturday's result. The thing is, we have looked better than a lot of the teams mentioned above, so at some point you would expect us to start getting points on the board. That isn't just rose-tinted glasses, that is what commentators and pundits have been saying too. My guess is: Swansea

West Brom are in the s*** I think. On TalkSh!te they were just saying they'd won one game in 20, but that's also because they were on the beach from February until May. They may be about to dump a manager thst keeps teams up and replace him with someone "sexy", which could turn out hilarious.

The real question is who're the other two that will be relegated with us?
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

On the stats front,in the season we first went up (Under Holloway) we got 4 pts from our first 11 games (Which is what we have now) and survived. We did win our 12th game so let's hope this is repeated aaginst Everton.

I don't understand this myth of West Ham being too good to go down. Who have they got in their squad that is quality? Carroll's always injured, Chicharito is only as good as the service he'll get, Noble has been s***e, Hart has been s***e (bar against us), Arnautovic is incredibly hit and miss.
