Below are the next 8 fixtures for the teams 20th to 11th in the league. In bold are bottom half teams. After seeing these, we have a nice run of fixtures coming up, which could really bring us back into the fold to stay up. Teams like Leicester and Bournemouth have a much harder run than us, in my opinion. I do believe we are playing better than a fair number of sides in the bottom half at the moment, we just aren't getting the results we need. Today, at Spurs, I felt if we came up against a weaker side, we would of easily of won on the performance produced by the lads today. We need to keep our heads up and get behind the lads, as these next few games are make or break games for our season. Coyp! Cpfc

I actually think we're playing so well right now, and unlike some have done for a few weeks. Good news is players who were out are back, Benteke coming back. Roy has had a chance to evaluate the squad, and is it seems a manager who actually picks our best players. None of those teams will fancy playing us, in fact i'd bet the only team fancy playing us would be City as we've literally a chance against anyone else in the division. Now its just time to get points on the board. It's gonna be a long break, and my only fear is the amount of MELT's who'll be writing us off in the mean time. Great post as hopefully the MELTs will see we've a run of games that are winnable. I'd say we need at least four wins from the above eight games to really get us back on track. Three might be ok, but really we got to hit the ground running and mount up an additional 12 points by the new year IMO.

We have by far the easiest run. Even the other two are winnable: a rivalry where anything can happen and Watford, who we always seem to beat, even without any shots on target!

I think we can get a lot of points out of those next 8 games. Especially if Benteke is back for the Everton game and he finds some form. Playing in the same team as his mate Sakho for some reason seems to bring a performance out of him. Sakho by the way was mom today. Immense.

Personally think we're currently playing some of the best football ever. Results will come, but its better than being crap every week and then sneaking an odd result here and there. I actually feel the club is on the cusp of some longterm up side. Get some wins, get to xmas, buy a couple of strikers and a keeper. And then we should be motoring !

Everton have just come back from 2-0 down and lead Watford 3-2, so looks like they're getting their s*** together. Why oh why couldn't we have played them while they had Koeman?

We need to win 5 out of the next 8 to stand any chance of staying up any thing less and you can forget it even if we win 4 don't think it will be enough
