An activist was raped in 2011 at a Labour event, by someone senior to her in the Labour party and was told that reporting it "could damage her" by a senior party official.

[Link]

I'm sure it won't be the last accusation, from any party, but that seems more damning than the allegations certain people are showing great delight in posting/sharing.

Horrible tossers everywhere. Didn't one MP say this whole thing could be bigger than the expenses scandal.

Just saw this but reluctant to reference any story that's going to regress to an argument about politics.

Still too many men and women who put their party politics first. Not that I expect feminists to put being a women first for example, but if you can't work out what's genuinely right you're a deluded wally.

Not that I wouldn't relish the news if it was Corbyn, but that's more about proving my point and highlighting the naivety of those who talk about him like the 2nd coming.

Now if I'd said the same about may I wonder who would reply?

I'm not really a fan, but she didn't invite people back to her flat to show off Dianne Abbott in her bed.

Nothing to do with Abbott other than the fact that she was in the bed.

No sexual offences should be tolerated and no offender protected. This isn't about left or right wing, but right and wrong. A rapist is a danger to the public.
