Hi I just saw on news now that spurs are putting the final touches to do a deal for wilf in january that suit both parties! I think he is vital and priceless for us for staying up. But if the powers that be do decide to sell 😠 what do you think his worth is I reckon 65 mill ..

I'd sell in summer if he absolutely wants to go. There is no deal in January that will suit us, unless it's stupid money.

If Wilf leaves in the Winter window we are in the Championship next season. If that is unavoidable at that point then a deal then might get us more money than one at the end of the season, but it would basically mean we've given up. Oh, and last time we played them they chucked Wilf into a hoarding and nearly injured him in the full knowledge that the ref would take no notice. Nice people.

It would take a full summer and all the league games available to even think of adjusting because the damaging effects would be instantly noticeable. Get scouting now if it's unavoidable in the summer. Recognise which specific areas need signings rather than what Everton did with number 10's. I doubt Parish would sell unless we've no hope in January, which is possibly the temptation Spurs are preparing and hoping for. If we stay up his price stays high. That is of course unless they've got wind of Arsenal snapping him up because of Sanchez and Ozil's imminent departure.

As it stands at the moment, we are a 1 man team, lose him and we might as well call it a day in the Premier League. And that's not being dramatic, look at the difference he has made since his return, 4 points, top goal scorer and the talisman for anything creative we produce.

Not only is he irreplaceable for us, but the way he seems to need adulation from the fans suggests it would not necessarily be great for him either. The simple answer for me is: sell Wilf = get relegated. I was sad to see Bolasie go, but having seen what Palace are like without Wilf this season I would be devastated to see Zaha go even if it were for £100 million. Personally I don't see this happening as 1. Palace would be mad to let him go mid-season 2. Unless there is a clause in his contract then we would not even come to the table for less than £50 million in my opinion 3. Parish seems to love Zaha as much as the rest of us and he is not going to give him up without a fight

I can almost guarantee this would be a deal agreed in January for Summer. If we go down there will be a lot of vultures circling Wilf and he will quite rightly want to leave. He'd probably have a choice of Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal. Possibly even United again with a change of management. Tottenham know that if they can stump up the cash in January, even without the immediate fruition of having Wilf, they have a squad good enough to do what they want this season and then next Wilf's name will be signed so he can't join elsewhere - worth it to them. I'd imagine a club like Spurs would be able to turn Wilf's head even if we stay up, so this isn't really a gamble if the money is right. It's not like we'll be kicking ourselves if we survive thinking if only we'd known we'd survive, Wilf would want to stay and fight ANOTHER relegation battle next year. Be a damn shame to see him go though. He's magic.

Can't really be anything other than paper talk. If they have agreed personal terms with Wilf then I would think that an illegal approach has been made as Wilf is Parish's golden boy and I doubt he would authorise such talks. Such an approach didn't work out great for Liverpool with Van Dijk, but I guess we just have to wait and see because we are all surmising. I do agree with the general consensus on here that we are down if he goes in Jan.

It's the right move for him. He'll miss Palace but we can always get him back in 6 years on a free. Spurs and the way they play. He will love it. He just needs to improve a small bit to fit in with Kane and Alli.
