I’m not being facetious by saying hopefully the fact the ambulance was speeding was a good sign ie maybe the steward was wrong about the person having died. Otherwise; how terrible. Edited by YT (29 Oct 2017 9.42am)

The paramedics were literally working on him for three quarters of the game, with a section of the concourse screened off with coats At the end as we left we asked a steward, and he said the guy was still breathing when he left the ground What happened afterwards at the hospital is anyones guess, we're not friends or family - but fingers crossed the medics had a result

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Hope he's ok.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I'd have hoped so, it is their job after all. I think you need to be a very special person to do that type of job. It must be extremely stressful but both rewarding and tragic depending on a number of factors including your own skill and efforts on the day. Let's hope the person survived.

Great to hear that it sounds like they saved him. In that case he was lucky he was at Selhurst and not sat on his sofa watching the game. Edited by Goldfiinger (29 Oct 2017 3.35pm)
