Hi guys, hope all is well during these hard time. Can anyone tell me why Parish and Co have not come out and told us what the hell is wrong. By now I would have thought he would have said what is wrong with the club. I and a number of my fellow palace pals want to know a number of things with a major question being "why did we start the season with only one striker"? I understand agents fees are a pain, and a lot of players are over priced, but when making the decision on deadline day that Benteke could play as the only striker until Jan 2018, did you not think Benteke could of ended up injured? Anyway sorry for the rant, just confused as to why Parish and Co have not come out with any form of statement. If I am incorrect, please can you post a link so I can read their statement. Fingers crossed for weekend.

Cheers, I will have to listen. Don't suppose anyone has a link do they? My personal view is that we do have a better squad than burnley, but for some reason we have started the last two seasons diabolically, and surely there has to be a reason why. Is it the coaching, is Parish getting involved far to much and slowly turning into Simon Jordan's clone? So confusing. And teams like huddersfield are spending a fair penny, and look how Brighton are doing. If we carry on like this, then we could end up doing a Derby.

You won't believe me but.... I know someone very high up at the club who sought consultation over the unreasonably high number of thigh strains we'd suffered in the first few weeks of the season. As the conversation opened up it was clear that SP and his best mate (Mr M 'no-one knows what he does' B) make almost all the final judgements on fitness and remedial issues. Beyond that, their strong position on agents and the slow and deep process they go through to check out the character of each player, was expressed as a reason for such painful and often-fruitless transfer activity. I once worked at a club where the chairman wouldn't let me do a single thing without me providing a TP&L and Business proposal. Nothing. My summary on the SP front is that he might need to remove his fingers from the pie a little and trust people to dp the jobs they are qualified to do.

Biff I honestly believe this is one of the issues, Parish wants to run the club from bottom to top.

Fingers crossed for weekend. Because he doesn't care about us. He doesn't see any reason to let the fans know what he's done. Why do you think tickets are still so bloody expensive? Why do you think it took him five years to even think about installing mandatory features for disabled people? Because that's not what was important to him. Everything he's done since arriving here was to make himself look the bee's knees. He stumbled his way into the Premier League, especially after Dougie left, and now he's there he hasn't a clue what to do, so he's blaming all of it on everyone else he can. He thinks being a Palace fan makes him King of the Hill and doesn't think he needs to listen to anyone else. Any smart chairman would give their manager the money and say to them "This is our budget and if you want to use it to buy 5 center backs, you live or die by it." He should've thought through what tactics he wanted his team to play, got a man in who fit them, and then just let him get on with it. But no, he tried to be the scout, the players' agent, the coach AND the manager all at once, all while keeping his wallet as tightly closed as possible, because he thinks he knows best about everything. And that's the way it's going to carry on because he's got an ego bigger than his nose. This isn't Crystal Palace F.C. anymore, it's Steve Parish F.C.

He's desperate to control every aspect of the club he can, and it's turning everyone against him
