After the 4th goal went in last night, a sizable collection of absolute cvnts in the away end starting singing for Julian Speroni. What the fvck is the matter with you? I'm firmly in the Speroni camp on who should be in goal, but Hennessy has always done his best (he's just not good enough) and deserves all our support when he's picked, as does any player. What good will it do to smash his confidence to pieces? And what if Speroni gets injured, WH plays and drops clangers because of how you have reduced his confidence? Last night he had no chance with any of the goals, and even if he had what would be the point of slagging him? Indulging your pathetic upset feelings at any palace player makes you scum and it will not help us in any way. And if you don't want to help support the lads, then we're much better off without you.

I tend to agree with you, although I think for their third he shouldn't be getting beaten from such a tight angle (was a great goal though all the same) His distribution does need talking about though because it's appalling. None of his long kicks ever seem to reach a Palace shirt. He isn't the reason why we lost, Tompkins and Kelly were atrocious last night, and he didn't deserve the abuse but he just isn't a safe pair of hands.

No chance with any of the goals! That's the problem. He has no chance no matter what the opposition is. He is Useless. I have every right to show my anger as I pay for it. If he continues to wear a Palace shirt the support will fall away anyway. My 92 year old mum could have stopped the 3rd goal last night. Skilful as it was it was also straight at The keeper. Fans have every to be angry when they see an over paid pollock putting in zero effort. And that applied across many of the team last night

Best fans in the world? Well considering that we had 2k fans on a Tuesday night, most going all the way from work and back, sung the whole game (whether you agree with the chants of not) despite witnessing that crock of s***e. Bit harsh.

Can't understand why players like tompkins and Kelly didn't make an effort. And PVA just seemed to have the hump that he had to play at Bristol city on a tuesday evening. At least Sako gave it a go.

So our fans are 'scum' for voicing their disapproval. Sorry but I don't agree. I don't think anyone singing anything has anything personal against him, it is just a way of making themselves heard and is borne out of a couple of years of frustration at a first team player continously underperforming and yet keeping his place in the team. I did feel a little sorry for him but then I remembered how much I earn and how much I spend on watching the team and then how much he has in his bank account for doing his job. It's the same with the shirt throwing incident with Pape-Souare last night, I'd like to think that wasn't anything personal and was more of a statement of how frustrated our fans are feeling about everything that's gone on so far this season. If it was personal then it was absolutely moronic but I cannot see how anybody would find any reason to do that
"It's ok postman , he'll lick you to death" "That isn't really that comforting , I still end up dead !!" |

Last night was hopefully rock bottom - but I have serious doubts it was :-(

Hennessy was the unlucky one last night as he happened to be close enough to get a bit of stick but he wasnt the only one to be mocked. (and it was well deserved) Football players have a very cushy life and if stick from fans doesnt motivate them to improve them good luck to them. PVA got booed when he was taken off and to me that was very acceptable, because hopefully he will wake up this morning with that noise in his ears and actually make an effort and understand how much it hurts the fans to watch that garbage. Over 2000 fans travelled to that game last night, most probably getting home in the early hours to get up again at 7 for work. So they have every right to let their feelings known. I just wish it was the right players receiving the abuse and not always Hennessy.

It was 100% nothing personal against Souare, The chap was actually looking to hold onto the jersey but a few of his mates pressured him into throwing it back.

Our best chance of getting out of this mess is through unity and our part to play is to support the team. The only time a player should get grief are when they are demonstrably not trying. I didn't see that from anyone last night, what was missing was some quality and confidence. Slagging off players because you don't like them and throwing a shirt back are both appalling and will contribute to our downfall. If you think these things are ok because you've paid money or how much they earn then you're not a supporter, just a paying member of the public. And we need supporters right now.
