Just saw a video of pape trying to give his shirt to the fans only for them to throw it back , wow has it really got that desperate that one nut job does that to a lad who has had a year off due to a car crash and has only featured in two first team games ? Shame on whoever it was surely as fans we are better than this ?

I wouldn’t say it was directed straight at Pape, I’ve seen the video myself and if the shirt was thrown back for anything, it would in defiance of a shocking team performance. A symbol for the team of ‘simply not good enough’.

No doubt Puncheon saw what happened, walked Pape off and would’ve said something in the changing room. That whole back 5 should not be conceding 4 to a Championship team. Zero fight, zero balls. They need to be told/shown we ain’t having it.

Needs to go out on loan to the The Championship in Jan to get more game time.

Any links to the video?

It all went off on Talksport with one of those rare shows where 90% of the callers were Palace, and if not, wanted to talk about it.

Harry wants Roy sacked.

Then missing the part where most of the crowd then sings "There's only one Pape Souare." Whoever done that to Pape should feel ashamed.

I know you meant metaphorically but pape is the only person there when the shirt is thrown back. Maybe punch explained it was meant for the team but that moron deserves a slap, and I think he got one.

Apparently Puncheon tried to throw his shirt in too but can only throw sideways & backwards so failed.........he hasn't thrown a shirt into a crowd successfully since the Cup Final 2 years ago..........

When Pape came on @ 4-1 you could tell that he was mad with the team. No surprise after sitting for 70 mins or so to see such a dreadful performances like PVA preventing him from playing. Unfortunately this effected his limited time on the pitch. Cannot see him getting any long game time in the league so I would loan him out to a Championship team in Jan. Would have him back over 5 PVA's.

It's comforting to Know that the majority of us were disgusted by Pape getting his shirt thrown back, Palace have acquired quite a collection of muppet supporters since we arrived in the promised land, and it's shaming the rest of us.
I personally went to see Pape in hospital, at which time, he had been told he might not play again. He's a good guy, and a brave one, and I hope he retains the love for the Palace fans, but the efforts of one bladdered teenager could have changed all that. I hope not.
As for sending him on loan to the Championship, Why?, he's the best LB we have. PVA needs a visit to the Championship after his performance!
