Definitely. This changes everything. The bookies are also of the same opinion now, judging by the odds. We are no longer odds on to go down, although we are still 3rd favourite behind Huddersfield and Brighton.

Having been a Palace fan for 30 years I would have eaten my pants if we had not got a score draw against Chelsea !! Zaha coming back with his class and love for the club was going to get us at least a point !! 3 points great !! Zaha to Palace is what Bale is to Wales !! Need Benteke back on the pitch and another striker in January !! We will be fine !!

knowing Palace as well as we do, beating chelsea with the likes of Eden Hazard is as good as it gets. On a good day we could beat Real Madrid or Barcelona. but the real clincher to staying up , is how we play week in , week out against crappy low level teams. And grinding out a good result on a rainy surface in a dump like Stoke on Trent. that will keep us up.

We're only four points off safety. It says a lot about the quality of the bottom half of the league that despite losing seven in a row without scoring a goal, we're still within touching distance of getting out of the bottom three, and have already got City/United/Liverpool away in the rear view mirror. We don't need to be fantastic to get out of trouble. If we're average from this point out we should be ok.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

A few of the teams down there won't be down there soon and our shocking goal difference is another point against us. It's going to take months and months to correct this. Chelsea were about a 6/10 for them today. We'll need quite a big points per game average which we never seem to do gradually so I'd delay the premature celebrations and stroking each other off for 7 months yet.
