What other chairman would come up with such a flippant comment as the one below tweeted by Steve P a couple of weeks ago. Well Steve the sun has not come up, Any chance you will reply on here to all those fans/supporters that are desperately unhappy with the situation we are in at the moment, Or are you still in denial about this being anything to do with you

In fairness, the sun did come up the next day. And every day since then. Let's put all this into some perspective..... Edited by Sansbup (26 Sep 2017 12.19pm)

Parish owns 18% of palace, so 82% is owned elsewhere. So how does blaming the 18% magically transform the other 82% ??
catford kid, caught up supporting "team of the 80s" in the 70s.. |

Parish owns 18% Browett, Long and the other own 12% Harris 18% Blitzer 18% The other 24% by Americans in a holding company arrangement. Relegation could be interesting in how they approach it. After we have a championship squad the club won't be worth much more than £50 mil but a reasonable stab at promotion with a decent manager building a team in year 1 might be a sensible plan. I'd look at Sam's recommendation in Sheffield Utd's manager, or Wagner if Huddersfield go down. They fit Parish's skill set. That is of course if we go down and either Roy wants out or he hasn't been as useful as we hoped.

And yes if we go down to whatever level I will still be there week in week out I just think the Guy needs for once to accept that he aint good at some parts of being Chairman and get some help from outside, Maybe not ex palace Edited by Medway Eagle (26 Sep 2017 1.55pm) Edited by Medway Eagle (26 Sep 2017 1.57pm)

Can you see Hodgson being in charge next season if we are relegated ? I think it unlikely.

Someone who's met him in football outside of Britain reckons he would, but I don't know what he's basing that on. He only had good things to say on Roy but did say he was incredibly tight. As tight as a Scotsman, in the nicest possible way. Claimed a taxi fare costing pennies as he was being paid a lot of money for something.
