Actually there is some good news. Thank god Benteke's injury has come at a time when there will be two international breaks before mid-November. Therefore he is only likely to miss the following league games;

Man United (A)
Chelsea (H)
Newcastle (A)
West Ham (H)
Tottenham (A)

Phew!!! It could have been a lot worse

Good point, makes a change from the hysterics. However Newcastle and Hammers are winnable and no Benteke real is a blow here. I hope we can get a stikerless system working (or Ladapo has turned out to be the next Vardy) by then.

We've had this for the last 6 PL games.

You say 'miss' and benteke in the same thread
Is that irony on purpose
A double negative

In fact 3 of those games are probably certain defeats anyway even if Benteke was playing. So in reality we are probably only really going to miss him badly for 2 games- Newcastle and West Ham (H)

Exactly.

This assumes that the 6 weeks out is correct.

Wilf was only supposed to be out for 4 weeks after his injury against Huddersfield.

Judging by his interview on the Palace twitter feed, his ligament is healing nicely, which means he should be back for the Everton home game on 18th November. So with another international break, he is only going to miss the next 3 games!!! Mind you, would he get his place back after Saturday???

No.

Hate to say this but hope not at the moment. Nothing against Tekkers but was a master stroke formation by Roy against Chelsea which will cause teams problems with the pace of Wilf and Andros and the strong midfield behind. Great to watch rather that the hit and hope to CB

Just my opinion of course

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong
