I actually used to work with a woman who was a Chorley supporter and always enjoyed chatting with her about how the club had been doing in recent seasons, particularly because of the Matt Jansen connection. He has been at the club for a good number of years now, and ended his playing days there before being appointed assistant manager to ex-Blackburn teammate Garry Flitcroft a few years ago.

I'm sure most of us have our own fond memories of Matt and will be pleased to see that he is still involved in football, now enjoying life in a management role. I hope he continues to find success in his career and wish him and his Chorley side all the best for their upcoming FA Cup tie with Ashton Athletic.
