So we are no points, no goals after 6 games - yes it's terrible, painful and to some extent a little humiliating.

But we are just 5 points from 15th place..!!

Put that into context we should have beaten Burnley and had enough chances to get something from the Liverpool, Swansea and Southampton games.

There are far worse teams in the league than us; Brighton, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Newcastle etc..

It's been a very disruptive period and a lot of mistakes have been made. I'm not going to go into that other than to say Parish and the board must accept a large proportion of the responsibility.

But if you take our first choice 11 with confidence we can give anyone a game and certainly pull ourselves out of this mess that we've contrived to land ourselves in.

The mis-management is from the board IMO; too slow in the transfer market, no backing of FDB despite Parish verbally in press conference backing a change of style and obsessed with trying to save a few quid rather than looking at the bigger picture.

But we are where we are, as I said the first choice 11 is good enough to get us out of this and even if we lose against both Man U and Chelsea and I suspect we'll get out of it and stay up - just because there are far worse teams than us and I think Roy will achieve a level of consistency.

But serious questions have to be raised about the current management or mis-management of the club.

Meantime let's get behind the boys and hope as I said at the top - "The darkest hour is just before the dawn" and that we have reached rock bottom and the sun is now rising..!!

COYP..!!

Yes and we try and find shards of positivity in our current predicament.

That said, we have Man Utd and Chelsea in our next 2 games and unlikely to get any points from either game so we are likely to be more points away from 15th place.Concerning, disappointing, depressing etc.

You are correct. Pity he can't score goals though. His record on that score is shocking for an attacker. One every ten games. Who are we playing for game 10?

Brighton? I do hope it's Brighton
