Anything from the Man U and Chelsea game will be a bonus, the next 2/3 weeks the squad will have to take on - board Roy and his staffs methods - our season will be defined largely between after the Chelsea game and the end of December. Keep the faith we're the great escape artists !!!

After Chelsea, we have home games to Stoke and West Ham, plus trips to Newcastle and Brighton (with potentially tougher games against Spurs and Everton in there). Those 4 are key fixtures- we HAVE to get 7 points, minimum, plus maybe snatch something from Everton (at home, and they're rubbish currently) if we are to have any realistic hope of finishing out of the bottom 3. But its Palace, so probably beat Chelsea, Spurs and Everton, lose all the rest

Shows it's not beyond us. But wouldn't Tony Pulis be delighted to turn our 44 points safety into a 41 points relegation on the last game of the season?

You have us down for 27 points at home this year, and we had 20 points at home last year. That's a big difference. We had a relegation quality team last year, and we're back this year with no improvements, plus now Zaha and Benteke are battling injuries. It's possible we'll avoid relegation, but it's going to take a ridiculous amount of good luck. Other teams will have to collapse down to us. I feel bad for us fans and our players at this point. It's embarrassing waiting months for a single goal. The players are trying, they just aren't good enough, and have had suffered through bad luck and too many bizarre manager changes. We started the season with no margin for error, and then every single thing has gone wrong since. I'm at the point where I'm just trying to enjoy being in the premier league for this season, because who knows what the future holds for us. We don't have the budget of an entire arab kingdom, so we have to scrap for every point with budget players. Support Palace and our players to the end. If we go down, let's go down fighting.

I'm trying to optimistic, I really am but at the moment it is really hard. We are the only team in the top 5 divisions not to have even scored. Just at the moment it's hard to see where the first point is coming from. Would love to think we will get out of this malaise and move up the table but at the moment it seems a long way away. If we can only get a goal, if not a result, in the next two games at least that would get a big monkey off our backs.

Last year we lost away against Mcity ManU , Home to CFC Lost at home to Swansea, Replace Sunderland with Huddersfield. So potentially we are Six points adrift of last season with the Lpool and Southampton loses. Plenty of time to make up the points and with 2 tough games ahead a real chance for Roy to sort the men from the boys. Keep the faith peeps.

Zero points and zero goals after 6 games ... likely to be extended to eight games is nothing to base any hope of "resurgence" on. We would have to take our points from lowly teams in the league ... those very teams who've already shown us to be lacking. Inevitably, we are the punch bag for the Premier League this season and are there just making up the numbers.

Precisely, there are too many on here that seemed to have pissed their knickers and got themselves into a bit of a state. We've been in much worse situations than this before.

We have been in bad situations yes ... but I can't ever remember us not being able to put the football in the back of the net. The whole concept of winning a game depends on that.
