Breaking all the wrong records. Is he asking for more criticism.

I recall the days when we played in the old Third Division before gates of around 6,000 so to be in the PL for the 5th season perhaps gives reason for supporters to believe that we have never had it so good, despite our current difficulties.

Could never have imagined in those bygone days that we would be part of the elite in the top league in the world paying multi-millions for players and receiving such focus for being in this position.

Accordingly I understand Steve's comments.

Drunk so early on a Sunday morning?
That tweet really isn't helpful.

Thankfully i'm not as old as you Willo, but i remember traveling with my dad and bro to watch palace with Shefi Kuqi up front, Paddy Mac at the back in front of 13k crowds. Loved it then, love it now, only difference is we've picked up 13000 c***s who think we have a right to be in the premiership. They will be brighton fans very soon no doubt.

SP just doesn't seem to see how much he has messed up, does he?

He is starting to demean himself as well as the club with these poorly-judged and self-serving tweets. I think it is really hurting him, as a seasoned PR man, to have lost control of the message and to have been shown up as out of his depth in so many ways.

Not the sorts of tweets which suggest all is well.

Usually when things go badly, Steve just retreats and keeps his mouth shut - now, when perhaps his most major failure to date has been exposed, he's throwing a hissy fit. Starting to wonder if he cares more about himself than the club.

So much division among fans and ex players, players. Never known anything like this in my thirty years as a Palace fan.
We used to be such a close tight club, wtf is going on!!??

SP is no Arthur Wait, that's for sure. Good idea about the placards and petition though...
