I still cannot believe we are in this sorry situation. Arguably we have a very good squad, 5 games in we haven't scored and look very short on confidence. Anyway, as Palace fans, we all know this. So the question is who is to be held responsible for this mess? I have to say this Salako thing may have a few answers but like the rest of us don't know what is really wrong. Just in my humble opinion, I am beginning to get the feeling SP could have a lot to do with it but I have no real evidence. I guess I am very depressed like the rest of us with this situation and I will be praying things can change very quickly to save our premier status.

No, the question is WTF do we do about it. Salako's remarks show that blame allocation hardly helps.

You're very depressed like the many.
I agree Parish must accept some responsibility in that it took him many weeks to hire the wrong man in De Boer. What a shame he went showing off his water ski skills whilst on holiday when he should have been beating Watford to the signature of Marco De Silver.
At the moment,we are setting records for all the wrong reasons and our next game against a prolific City could well see yet another record broken in terms of goals scored against us.Hope I am wrong about that one but could see us still pointless after 8 games.
Now that is really depressing and will leave us with a mountain to climb.

We are looking like no hopers and that can only be consolidated over the next few weeks. The squad issues can't be resolved until January and by then we might as well prepare for the Championship. Evidently poor leadership at the top of the club but if SP throws in his towel what happens next?

the reasons we lost Pulis may be the reason for this current mess.
also Pardew needed sacking just after the FA cup dance routine.

allardyce was a sticking plaster to buy us another 5 minutes at this level.

who is to blame ? the players ? the suits in the boardroom ? bad luck ?

I didn't particularly like Pulis but I think this was our biggest loss. WBA safe and not even considered for relegation, so why did we lose him? Was SP to blame because of transfer policy? Who knows but something is not right that is for sure!!

Really don't know what the answer is... The team were poor and Hennesey didn't control the ball. Finishing well we can't finish a pass or tackle let alone find the net?
As a fan it hurts to see the club you love break so many records, all the wrongs ones.
The scum are above us and they are laughing at us...
SP must take the blame for not doing enough to find a descent manager during the closed season. I'd like to give Hodgeson a chance but can't see him dragging us out of this mess.
The players also should soldier some of the blame as they are payed so called 'professionals'!! The next 4 games will give us nothing and just increase the gap between us and all the other clubs above us. Cant see us being in the Premiership next season.

The team is lacking a spine as follows:-
We have a poor keeper.
We need strength and experience in central defence ( Sakho with Tomkins or Dann should work ) The Dutch kids aren't good enough yet.
We need Luca at defensive central midfield.
Benteke needs to pull his finger out or be replaced - if he'd taken his chances we wouldn't have the current prob.

Yeah good point, but I think I believe Sam when he said he wants to retire. Can't I don't think hold SP responsible for that unless it was down to transfers again?? Who knows.

Be replaced by who?

Therein lies the problem. The failure to sign anyone to play up front either alongside CB or in place of him given injury, suspension or loss of form, was neglect of the highest order.

And don't get me started about the goalkeeping situation.
