Am I right in thinking wan-Bisakka played at left back in pre season, or was it right back? Thought he looked one of the most promising youth players at the time, would like to see him involved

Maybe not when trying to introduce a new system of three at the back though

Yes indeed he was impressive, and I can think of a few others that were also given some playing time, both pre-season and in the early season games.

However, I am putting Ideas out regardless of who is managing the squad.

I am curious where HOL members would place ANY of these young hopefuls, alongside our 24/25 man squad in a game when given a chance to play this season.

COYP!

Wan-bassaka looked good pre season. Lokilo was decent but looks light weight as did Kirby. Like dreher could be a player but again he needs to hit the weights room!

Thanks for your points and I guess by that, do you mean they should not play this season at all? Boxers usually manage to get their weight up which admittedly can take 3-6 months... but that's still this season.

If it is the case that they do get a look in where, and at whose expense would you hazard a speculation?

Be nice if we could still see them play regularly, but we're not allowed to anymore.
Palace supporters are banned from most of the home games.

Well that doesn't stop several PPL clubs trying to prise some of these boys away. Without watching these games, how do they know? It must be when Palace play their teams.
There's a ruling teams with soccer academies are entitled to take youngsters from anywhere, pretty much free, I've heard. Is this correct?

Something like that, which is why it's pretty important the club get the planning sorted for Beckenham and hopefully get our academy upgraded to tier one.

Personally I think this is more important than a bigger / better stadium in the short to medium term.

Of the Palace produced players:

Luke Dreher
Jason Lokilo, if he bulks up
Levi Lumeka
Victor Fundi
Nya Kirby

and at an outside chance (and it hurts me to say that) Sam Woods at Centre Half, and possibly Nikolai Tavares

Coker simply is too lazy and inconsistent

Taking the bungy jump since 1964. Never to see John Jackson in a shirt again

Sorry to see Lee Hills go, did we ever see Alex Marrow? We did January 2013

I think that says more about the attitude of the club towards supporters, there are five games at Selhurt with number 3 coming up at 1pm Monday
