A team that I consider to be of similar stature and ambition to Palace have signed: We are but a speck in their rear view mirror.

WBA fans bitch about Pulis, but nice boring stability is what we could really use. If only Allardyce had stuck around.

Only two players on that list I would want Gibbs and Rodriguez. Our two loan signings are just as good if we get two or three today we would have had a better transfer window Edited by chrys51 (31 Aug 2017 12.32pm) Edited by chrys51 (31 Aug 2017 12.33pm)

Yeh agreed, listening to HOL radio everyone was making excuses for the continued awful transfer strategy that we are implementing year after year, except that young lad they have from Thornton Heath. "Other transfers have to happen first" and "you have to wait to get the right deals". No you dont, other clubs around us dont, they get their signings in at a time when they can add value to the first games and not watch us throw away 9 potential points of the 40 we need. There are so, so many things wrong with the way the club is being run, and its getting to be beyond a joke.

Burke also exciting prospect which would add depth. Too late now in any case...

Also how quick are they at signing players compared to us. They don't have much speculation then BANG the announcement is out with the player holding the shirt. Not sure why we are so slow all the time. It's starting to frustrate me Edited by Northbrook (31 Aug 2017 12.44pm)

I think, if we survive, we should just not show up until after the transfer window. Might actually help. No expectation, no booing, no disappointment, longer lasting suntans after a British Summer and then a late Mediterranean holiday. Parish gets 7 in then for a reason. Who's for it?

We are the only team in the entire league that NEVER announces a signing 1 - 2 days after the news breaks in the media. I wonder why......remember our last permanent signing...same thing yet again.
