I spoke to him on Saturday and pleased to see him at the match supporting the team and not running off back to Chelsea for treatment like the other loanee from there. He tells me he did his groin in on the practice pitch and will be out for two weeks. Seems a nice lad.

Good for him. Hopefully he'll be back for Burnley.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Hopefully we'll be playing 4-3-3 with him, Luka and cabaye in midfield with rlc further forward!

Luca needs to wake up and realise he's no longer on his holidays as he looks a shadow of the player he was last year. Dithering on the ball and misplacing passes

More to do with the tactics I reckon He has been played in a number of different positions but FdB has not played to his strengths. So we have a basicaly very good player, who is uncertain and losing confidence. A good coach, so I am told, is very clear with every player what their role is and what they should be doing. FdB is shoe-horning players into a system they are not comfortable with

Got a feeling FdB dont fancy Luka. He keeps subbing him. The 3-4-3 dont suit Luka. Its making him pass backward too much.

He is not looking as commanding or as confident as he was last season. Needs an arm round him, kind few words from Sammy Lee and a change of tactics to get him going again!

In that case , we also need to get behind a player with both heart and conscience to do a proper job under current employer rather than travelling mercenary come-supposed- hotshot.

Build your solid back line and the spine of the side, not demolish and demoralise them. There's at least half a team that should be on the team whatever, then you pick the formation etc after they and a few more are pencilled in. It might not be so. Better not be or things could get worse, and I didn't think they would or could.
