While i think 3 games is wrong to sack FDB it seems his style is not for us. We play well with 4 at the back and counter attact. I cant be the only person who thinks sammy is the way forward... knows what big sam did and loves Palace

Don't think he should get the job but he's not been in the technical area anywhere near as much, encouraging the players is a massive part of what he did last year and he should get back to it !

Because FDB does not want him in the tech area. Is he worst than we have?? He knows the system and players

I like Sammy Lee and think he can offer a lot to the club but assuming a good coach can become a good manager just becuase he's a good coach isn't necessarily true. Wiki says he took over Bolton after big sam left. He won one game out of eleven and was sacked. He might be a great manager for us but I'd be reluctant to find out based on his Bolton days where he was also highly regarded.

I could be wrong but Sam is probably has the person the players go to say what they think etc. I rate him as a coach - very very good. Im not sure he would make a good manager (not yet anyway) but would he be any worse?
Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978 |

I'd probably buy in to this, from what I know Sammy Lee very much isn't manager material and how ever much people want to have a Sammy Lee love in that fine and good but doesn't mean he's manager material. Just ask Bolton fans. There's a reason why some people are great number twos and not number ones. And I suspect Sammy Lee is a perfect example. Good with the players and good and relaying information but maybe not so good at making decisions and actually leading. Not having a dig at Sammy Lee far from it just agreeing that Sammy Lee most likely isn't the answer.

Does he have no opinions on anything? Does his wife not allow it? Didn't he give Townsend his opinion? A scouser who learnt the the Liverpool way under Fagan doesn't have an opinion? Are you for real? Either he keeps his thoughts to himself when it's in his interest or he knows Frank is a dead man walking. Or your contact wasn't told sammys opinion or your source wouldn't tell you.
