Summary of my latest thoughts on the impending transfer deadline and who we might sign. I'd like us to make a move for Zoet apparently £8m can get the deal done but maybe less so let's say £7m. Hands up I don't know much about him or Vorm but the YouTube videos I've seen of each would suggest he's decent and verdict is out on Vorm, unless others have seen Vorm and he's actually a top keeper? I'd go for Zoet. Something tells me Spurs wouldn't let Vorm go if he was decent..? Next up Sakho. The lads and manager need this signing to be done. It'll lift the whole club and almost guarantee points. Seems like Sakho is helping and digging his heels in for a move to Palace. Hopefully this means a deal at £20m plus the rest in add ons over the next couple seasons. From our abject performances so far it's clear we'd be mental to let MacArthur, Cabaye or Andros go without guaranteed ready to go replacements. That being said I believe we should keep hold of all them unless we have a couple of ace transfers up our sleeve which it doesn't look like. Strengthening upfront is beyond necessary and at minimum we need another forward player. One that can cover for any of our front three. For me Munir ticks this box perfectly. Assuming budgets are limited then a loan move with option to buy would suit us. So there it is.. my wish list. Zoet £7m If we can pull off those transfers I'd be tempted to save any extra cash for next season when hopefully some of these loan players will want to stay or need replacing. IMO (which has changed) we can't afford to sell first team players as the team is to fragile right now after getting no points on the board. However if rumors are true then potentially we could raise significant funds: Wayne to Newcastle I'd imagine would be £15m That's £50m potentially coming in. Everyone of those players would need to be replaced with quality and I can't for the life of me imagine we'd get another three deals done including those already mentioned.

IF (and I stress that's not what I want) we did have to sell to get wages down. Then I'd be inclined to spend the money like this: Buy two more keepers and have four in total: IF Andros and MacArthur are sold, possible buy: Only time will tell if those signings improve us, I'd be inclined not to sell anyone but if we do we'd need to strengthen as they are all class players. Regardless of the merit of your post, it just shows the difference between writing it on here and negotiating with various clubs from various countries with countless agents, accountants and lawyers to deal with.

Certainly is true, it's one thing suggesting it and another thing getting the deals done. Although rumors would suggest all three signings suggested are available. But wouldn't be surprised if only 0-1 arrive!

With the rumour mill suggesting our managers days are numbered would it be a disaster if we didn't buy anyone else in this window ?

Is buying Sakho a goalkeeper and a striker buying players to suit a system? What system doesn't need an experienced center back, striker option and goalkeeper?

This is true ,I was thinking more of a right wing back which is missing from the way our manager wants to play . So that's 4 we need to get over the line in 3 days .......

Replacing Wayne is key - he is not up to scratch and sucks any confidence out of his defenders. Speculating £15m for him just makes me laugh. £1.5m is more likely.
