So allegedly we're still trying to get Sakho, and have bid on him recently, with the window still open. As you're all aware, Zaha and RLC were out injured. So a simple question on your opinions guys, hypothetically, had these three fellas been in our starting line-up today would we have won? Leave club-politics and the likes to other threads, just curious.

No - because it's the philosophy that doesn't suit us not the players.

I think we would have got something out of yesterday ... highly unlikely the second goal would have happened with Sakho on the pitch. We should have started with Cabaye and Lee. All the Dutchmen need to go home.

Difficult one that. Zaha and Loftus-Cheek have turned in decent performances, but without success in the current 'system'. With the addition of Sakho the defending would have certainly improved and he does seem to have a positive effect on team moral. So, in the current system, maybe we wouldn't have lost, but I'm not sure whether we'd have scored. Drop the three at the back and I'd say, with those three, we'd have probably won today.

All the Dutchmen need to go home. Definitely agree that we should have started with Cabaye but also would have preferred Schlupp for PVA. A pity that Anderson did not get a run out as we have not really seen what he can do at Premiership level. Benteke clearly needs somebody up front to help him out and pick up on the nod ons. I think that we would have won if Wilf and RLC had been playing but not putting Sakho into the eqjuation as it must be clear to most of us by now that he is not coming albeit that he would make a massive contribution to our fortunes.

We might have been able to turn around the second half with Wilf.
