Trolling

Their seems to be an abundance of the above atm, and the personal attacks seem to be increasing, at the end of the day we are all different individuals, some people are half full and some are half empty so what! Whatever your point of view just see it that the individual cares about the club. If an individual is being negative let them vent their frustrations it's not hurting anyone and no need to then personally attack that person. Rant over, now my view on palace subjects

Transition/style of play

You need a squad that can play to the strengths of that system, Unfortunately we are not even close to having a squad to play 343, definitely siding with the perceived half empty brigade here, Pardew was given a year to try playing a more expansive style and we won how many games in that time? 1-3? Some say we need to change our style to give ourselves a better chance of staying up, fine but we need the players brought in. Rainri did this at Leicester last season, they dropped like a Stone and he was axed, then reverted back to the system that won them the league, gonna say that again won them the league by not dictating possession and climbed to safety, as Sam/pulis demonstrated clean sheets gets points on the board, we have currently 0. We are a very small fish at the end of the day and we haven't got the finances to assemble a man city squad of technically gifted footballers who are happy to rotate positions and happy playing in different systems. Case in point I think we should sell benteke if we want to stick to this system, but keep if we play to his strengths.

1St team Players that need upgrading

Punch

Loved the guy but feel time has caught up with his legs and defensively always felt he struggled.

WH

Pros - he has a big kick, tall
Cons - not allowed to use big kick in new system, as agile as a brickwall as his height stops him getting down low

Ward

Again think he's been great servant to the club but for us to improve we need a better 1st teamer with ward being back up, but was also a bargain.

Transfers

OK not expecting much on transfers but like I said above if the board wants this new system they have to get the players in to play it. But what I've heard we spent big I January woop de doo, if they spent the money in the previous summer they may have saved some cash as clubs know relegated threatened teams will spend more cash to survive, also if you get the right players in the summer it should get you more points on the board as it's painfully obvious to most where we need strengthening. If we do indeed splash the cash for sakho I would be more inclined to feel we will survive.

DOF

Would have liked this to have been filled by someone with more international contacts in the game that can find us some bargains, or someone with a pedigree of getting transfers over the line and also the occasional bargain like Walsh who was at Leicester who is now at Everton. Freedman feels like a job for the boys appointment being parishes yes man but time will tell like the Burke transfer.

One thing as a palace supporter life is never dull and on match day I'll be cheering on the manager and players as long as I can see some semblance of effort and I hope Dougies appointment isnt back up if they do sack frank as the season before we came up was the dullest football I can remember.
