So, linked with a Spurs defender to solve our issues. Seems to me that we are guilty of multiple 10-15m signings that are kind of ok, but not quite 'right'. Where in hindsight you wished you stacked up the cash and paid up for the one you really want. Sakho is who we want(?); so is this gonna be another 15m player that's 'ok' but not the full solution??? If we do sign Wimmer, given the cash deduction from the kitty, that's the end to Sakho and CPFC talk. God help Wimmer in which case if he is only ok - not sure fans would forgive him killing the Sakho dream. Am I alone in preferring a continued stand off with Liverpool and retain the hope?

I will wait to see what happens. If we end up with both of them then I'll be dancing in the streets!
