Been so impressed with him so far. What a talent. I think we should start saving the 40m now to try and buy him at the end of the season. You could build a team round him

Can't comment much more on this apart from agreeing.

I think TF-M can be held in a similar view, but I would doubt either clubs would sell unless they were mad enough not to see that quality.

Well done though, RLC deserves his own thread.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I went to the open training session last week at selhurst and he was, to me at least, head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch - by far the best player. Even in training the geezer was just naturally class. Great pick up and definitely unlikely to sign for real

Can't see Chelsea letting him go permanently, absolute quality with and without possession. For such a young kid with so few games he plays with total maturity.. which of course means he'll have a stinker this weekend.

You can see what Allardyce meant when he said that RLC could be as good as Dele Alli by now if he'd played as regularly.

RLC will be key for us this season, and I think he could be the next Lampard for Chelsea.

Chelsea are really good (or bad depending on what way you look at it) for loaning out their young players to get experience.

It's no accident and the likes of Zouma at Stoke proves this. He was a first team regular and is bound to be a great defender but just because he suffered a leg-break, they'd rather he'd get first team football for a season elsewhere than ease him back into the starting squad.

Not many other teams would have the depth to do that, knowing full well Zouma is part of the big plan and already at the level required but still send him on loan.

Loftus Cheek isn't held in the same regard as he's still looking to prove himself to Chelsea. They have proven over the years they are in no rush to get these hot prospects back, sometimes loaning players out for more than a season at a time. Thorgan Hazard I believe is a good example of this.

We could potentially get a 2 season loan deal out of Chelsea at the end of this one, and if we had him for a total of 3 years he's basically a signing for us anyway.
