Be interesting to see if the FA follow-up with sanctions against Leicester. The FA were exposed as not taking the issue seriously in that recent documentary and the press are giving this latest outbreak at Leicester a lot of coverage. I bet Sky are also on the phone to the FA. Come November be prepared to be on the end of a major back-lash...

How very magnanimous of you to stand up for the poor brow beaten Brighton fans. Will you do the same when Millwall are called thick dockers/knuckle draggers, Gillham (or illogically ourselves) called pikies or Liverpool fans Bin dippers or benefit scroungers?
I doubt it.
It'll go on. Some of us see little wrong with it and see it as banter. Some of us get all worked up about it but it'll go on. All forms of abuse, predudice, bigotry is unacceptable but those that sit in their ivory towers taking the moral high ground get on my nerves just as much as the bigots tbh.

I've got a very good & close friend who's a season ticket holder at the end.

He's had to endure "we scored 3 etc" from me repeatedly.

Not hate filled - just funny!

Some of it is banter but, from the reports I read, this crossed the line into homophobic abuse which has no place inside or outside a football stadium.

BHA fans kept a dossier a few seasons back and there were songs sung at them on average every other away game they went to.

Its not right, but really can't see that changing much in the PL. Any ground where the away fans are located next to the home 'noisy' bit, it is likely to happen.

Are they going to make a fuss to the press that often? Only making the news because its the Premier League and they are new to it. Won't be a story in a few weeks, the press will have new things to write about

About 50 people were seen singing offensive songs. That's almost 0.2% of the ground.
