With all of the stupid and crazy stuff happening now, I decided to make this thread so that whenever an attack happens, it can be put here instead of a new thread clogging up the message-board. This will literally just be for reporting it and how many were injured and stuff like that.

NO political rants (right-wing, left-wing, centrist i dont care)
NO spreading of false rumours (i.e social media etc)
NO posting of graphic picture (but that's probably quite self-explanatory)

Thanks,

HNTR

Thanks for setting up a thread that we can post to as long as the post conforms to your rules. Should we PM potential posts to you so that you can vet/censor them first?

Maybe a good place to start would be to link a list of all the attacks so far with the number of victims.
Then we can gauge how effective the state has been at protecting us across Europe and the US.
Of course, foiled attacks and arrest of suspects should be included but that information is not always available.

You're just as bad and I often wonder how much more popular General Talk would be if it wasn't for the three or four regulars going hammer and tongs at each other in every thread

If you're going to be fair shouldn't you also include information about the number of countries the US is bombing and has bombed since 2014 and the number of casualties because of these.
Here's some information:

[Link]
dropped 26,171 bombs in 2016 (3 bombs a day, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.)

I dont think you can expect to be bombing countries and not expect some sort of retaliation. Every civilisation in history has attacked another after being attacked whatever the reasons were and both sides always think they are correct. There are really only 2 prominent people who promoted peaceful tactics to overcome violent opposition - Gandhi and Martin Luther King. It would be nice to think that somebody might do the same in this day and age but rather than it being an individual person I would think that it is more down to our generation collectively to find a solution to our differences without destroying ourselves and our planet before we do.

Man is the most insane species. He worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Unaware that this Nature he’s destroying is this God he’s worshipping.

Don't remember them bombing Morocco. This is apologist nonsense.
