Grew up in Mitcham and like you say was at the Arsenal academy, went to Yeovil, Bristol City then Leeds.Had a disabled brother who was a lovely kid from what I remember who tragically died a few years back and his uncle is Ray Lewington.Looks a really good player now.Theres a massive connection to the area so if we was interested it would probably be pretty easy to get him.

I am informed that he played in a back three for Bristol C for about 60 games.

At Leeds he and his girlfriend shared a house with Karl Bartley and his girlfriend.He and Karl both played together in defence in Arsenal's FA youth cup winning team.

Most backs will be beaten if they are played two on one, which happens time after time with Ward. But equally we need to see that he gets no covering protection on the right, and our own defence on the right needs tightening, and in Fosu Mensa we have a player who is fast enough to provide that kind of cover, as should Townsend when playing on the right
