There are split opinions out there regarding FdB's appointment but one constant to Big Sam's tenure is Sammy. I hope that he is able to give some pointers to Frank where needed for the good of all concerned to ease us into the new formation. If he tries and is not listened to or is even sacked as a result, then we will know that for sure that Frank 'is not for turning.'

He does trust him. Spoke with koeman about him before his appointment.

De Boer has brought in Orlando Trustfull to work alongside him and Sammy Lee.

Lee was very much Allardyce's 'Right-hand man' having worked with him before - not sure of the relationship between FDB and Lee.Would not be surprised to see Lee leave the club.

That was announced in June.

Why? Here was De Boer's comment at that time: "Sammy Lee will also be one of the assistant coaches. I heard from my agent that he worked very well with Ronald Koeman at Southampton and he knows everything about this club and also the Premier League – so that’s a big advantage. I’m here now. I’ve met some people and will start speaking to people in the coming days."

I wasn't suggesting that Trustfull had just been appointed !

Just saying that he had been brought in to assist FDB.I think that Trustfull joined in July.

It was important for FDB to have Lee for the reasons he mentioned but maybe with knowledge of the PL, the club and players, Lee is now less useful to him.I really don't know the dynamic between the two but wouldn't be surprised if Lee moved on.Time will tell.
