I am all for freedom of self expression but does anyone agree with me that the current trend for huge tattoo's is a bit silly? I see plenty of people with huge tattoo's on their legs, arms and necks. I don't think they are individual. How can having a massive tiger on your tit be relevant to you? In the old days, a simple anchor, CPFC or a teardrop below the eye, if you were a member of the Crips, was sufficient. These days it seems that full body Celtic designs are needed. I don't get why.

So many people with tatoos that it's now more unique not to have them. Gone full circle.

This is why I stopped at 9. I didn't like the idea that I was investing all that money to be unique only to find I wasn't. I'll just have to try becoming gay instead.

Best job to go for around the corner will be to open a parlour that removes tattoos. As an example, you may opt for the barbed wire design at 18 but by the time you hit 50, it'll probably resemble a picket fence.

People say to me "won't those tattoos look a bit ugly when you're old and wrinkly?" to which I say "yep, and so will my bollocks".

I wouldn't say I'm anti tattoo....but it wasn't encouraged in my family.....from what I see, more younger people have tattoos....Outside of the cultural thing with armies and gangs, it's more self absorption from the 'selfie generation'.....not for me...just like ear rings on my lads wouldn't be.....But ultimately I don't regard it as a big deal.
