I always thought the tickets for these matches were much cheaper than they are for this match. Nobody cares in the early round of this cup and teams often play weakened teams. Last year, I took about 10 kids from my son's school. I buy them a burger to give them a great experience, but can't understand why they would be charged £10 for this match. These type of matches should be used to encourage kids to attend, partly for the future and also to get a larger crowd.

Ticket details for the Carabao Cup 2nd round match against Ipswich Town are now available. The match will be played on Tuesday 22nd August 2017, kick-off 7.30pm at Selhurst Park Stadium. Prices: Non-Members - Adults £20, Concessions £10 (junior and adult) Season ticket holders and paid members discount – Adult £15, Concessions £5 (junior and adult). Discounted tickets will not be available on the day of the match. Under 12 ticket FREE with every paying adult. Directors Box: Adult £25, Concessions £15 .

Not good at maximising revenue if people don't show. I won't be taking the 6 or so kids I take to these games, so hope they get others to watch a tin pot cup with reserve team players. Getting one kid to watch and start supporting the club and buying shirts in the future will be worth a lot more in the long term.
