While we're in the depths of despair. In the first half - he had a 1-on-1 and should have scored- and why wait for the tackle? How comes they're taking their chances and we are fluffing ours? Benteke had - what 3 free headers?

I can't make out wether the way we're playing doesn't suit benteke, wether he's not fit, or wether he's just s**t. I know he scored 15 for us last season, but in pre season and today he's looked awful. Put the ball right on his head and he may score, but he can't control the ball, his movement is non existant, rarely tries to run at the defence, and he didn't even win many in the air today. With teams likely to stop wilf, one way or the other, this season, I don't know where goals are going to come from...

I honestly don't think Benteke offers very much unless the ball is played to his head. With the ball at his feet he does he does very little.

Benteke doesn't put himself about as much as he should. Hardly worried about being dropped for Freddy Ladapo, is he?

Was just saying this today.He seems to always want to flick the ball up and do a little keep uppy before passing too.But what a head he's got on him.
