What's up with this? Did they make this video five years ago? Been saving it ever since? Their progression has been by no means rapid or surprising to anyone who knows football

Well it surprised me because whenever they get to the cusp of the Premier League they have until now always bottled it and stayed where they belong.

Brighton is a bit of a nowhere town to be fair.

It's a good video and sums up the good bits footballs, in this case Brighton, traditional support.

It airbrushes over the fact that Tony Bloom built an expensive folly that can only be sustained by replacing their working class fans with new ones that are happy to pay £200 extra for a padded seat and £10 for an organic quinoa burger with vegan mayonnaise. A lot of those who helped save the club are now priced out from attending games.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It's a good story and it must be great for their fans. However the arrogance emanating from some sections is shocking. Really hope they get smashed on Saturday, will make our journey back from Selhurst much more enjoyable

Example of arrogance....

Never heard of the Colombian winger they have bought. Odd they bought a winger when they still don't have a decent striker or GK.

Looking at NSC you'd have thought they've just bought Messi. Not a player from a league with lower quality than the Championship for £16m.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Talking to someone yesterday who lives near Steve Sidwell.

At least their players aren't as delusional as their fans. Sidwell thinks they'll get done 4-0 by Man City.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

8/1 on them finishing bottom with blacktype.bet and half the price elsewhere. It's a mental price, please have a tenner and get twice as much enjoyment from their Championship squad floundering.

They'll definitely get a result against Man City - its just not going to be the result they're hoping for. But I wish them all the best, in staying in the championship next season.

Better at what though, I do here that Wilf isn't particularly good at being s**t. They really do seem to think there is no step up from the Championship.
