It's Jon Moss whose Palace matches last season included home defeats v Spurs and Chelsea, a draw at Everton and a win at B'mouth.

Born in Sunderland, he now lives in Horsforth, West Yorkshire.

He is 46.

Hopefully he's now up to speed on the rules regarding indirect free kicks

Must know Huddersfield quite well then.

Isn't this the muppet that thought it was OK for Walker to throw Wilf into a hoarding?

I believe so and, as mentioned above, allowed Lukaku to score direct from an indirect free kick - a debatable one too.

Perhaps he owes us....

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Fairly sure he was the Ref who gave Ashley Young a penalty when he dived against us in the centre circle at Old Trafford a few years back.

He's useless.

That was him. He blew for...something...and looked to his linesman for help, got none, so he bottled it. Booking Young - the correct decision - would've meant sending the c*** off as he'd been rightly booked for diving earlier. So he gave the foul against Dikgacoi which meant Moss had to send him off instead. Finally, compounding the utter failure of that moment, he awarded a penalty despite the whole thing - apart from Young's trademark 5.7 difficulty landing - happening outside the area. That killed what had been, up to that point, a very even and scoreless contest - perhaps even with Palace shading it on the quality of play and chances.

Moss is a poor referee mostly because his fitness, or lack thereof, leaves him out of position constantly in today's warp speed game. He can't keep up with play and it's harder to see/think clearly when your lungs (and blood vessels) are bursting. He'd be a much better ref if he just ate a salad every once in a while.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

He lives too close to them for comfort in my opinion!

He was on Talksport the other day and Kevin Day was co-presenting. Pretty interesting listen, didn't realise he was gonna be at our game. Think it was Wednesday's Hawskbee & Jacobs show if you're interested.

He would not be refereeing in the PL this season if he hadn't passed the challenging pre-season fitness checks.

Have you ever seen a ref take a free kick over the wall?
