Myself and my son are season ticket holders (so what I hear you cry), the family member I refer to is my mother-in-law. She is 86 and has never been inside a football ground in her life and has no interest in any sport. However last season she started watching Final Score for the Palace results. She also came up with some correct score predictions (which suggests she may indeed be a witch). She is 87 on 15th August, jokingly we suggested taking her to the open training day...guess what? she was very keen and that is where she will spend her birthday. Her eyesight is failing so hopefully she will be able to see some of the "action"
Perhaps I should tweet SP and tell him of our "new" fan. My wife is also coming but that has something to do with Yohan!

That made me smile.....

Good on ya & well done, My missus is taking her G/son to SP for his 1st visit(tho he has watched the U23's at T&M twice)

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Well if I was you Ian I would have got the 'Mother In Law' a ticket down low in block 'B' near to the drum!

She will be near the action then and might well come back with a new song or two!

Partly thinking of her eyesight of course and also the fact that your usual home is a bit higher way over in block J!

Could she be any good in goal? Can't move any slower than Hennessey at free kicks.

When it was explained to my grandmother that the idea of football was to kick the ball so as to get it into the goal, she asked, "Would it not be easier if they didn't keep getting in each other's way?".

That's so funny. She's seems a bright older lady and it's nice she shows an interest in the Palace, bless her.

Haha they wouldn't know what hit them! She would tell them to sit down and be quiet.
