The prudential freeride london takes place this Saturday, where large areas in the city will be traffic free and only open for cyclist, it's a great day riding along the embankment on the 8 mile circuit taking in landmarks like St. Paul's and buck palace etc and all traffic free, plenty of festival zones on route, food merchandise etc, more info "google" prudential freeride London. Trust me it's great and suitable for all the family.....see you there? The route starts at leadenhall market.

Start time 08:32 so just before you. I am riding for Bloodwise. It is likely to be quite busy when we set off with quite a few bottlenecks especially Leith Hill. Good luck and be careful, especially on the descents.

Don't the hipster beards get caught in the cogs?

Amazing day and route. Really enjoyed it. Up at 5.15am, cycled from Canary Wharf to Stratford for 6.30am and finally set off at 08.40am. Completed it in 6 hours. Train back to Devon at 8pm arriving home at 11.30pm. Long day, shattered but raised £940 for children with cancer. Attachment: IMG_7631.JPG (213.29Kb)

I also did the Ride London 100 yesterday for Prostate Cancer UK. It was my second time; although the last time I did it they cut out the two big hills because it rained all day. What an amazing weekend this event has become in just five years. Maybe we can enter a CPFC or HOL charity team next year? I know a few others that would be keen to do that.

I'd be well up for that mate!! It'll be the only way in as the ballot is hard.
