Dead. Thank goodness. Denying people the right to take an employer to Tribunal unless they've got a few quid spare.

You are getting so sadly predictable that it is now embarrassing. However, I do agree 100% on this one.

I seem to remember some on here applauding the fee when it was introduced saying everyone who took a company to Tribunal was more than likely on the take. I saw it for what it was. A Tory ruse to allow some companies to take the piss. How many people have been unfairly dismissed only to not have funds to contest it? Edited by nickgusset (26 Jul 2017 9.39pm)

A flaming disaster. Opens the floodgates for ambulance chasing lawyers. Do you have any idea how many Tribunals there used to be before the fee? 200,000. No other country I have worked in had even a tenth of the volume. If you have a good case you get your fee money back anyway. Edited by Mapletree (26 Jul 2017 11.10pm)

Lawyers chasing Human Resource pen pushers... As bad as each other?! They should all be shot.

Chancer's Charter (you get it free at the moment if you are on low wages or benefits anyway). Many of the claims are paid for by unions - they have not been supporting spurious claims, now of course any old load of nonsense will go to tribunal. As usual these 'progressive' measures ignore humnan nature.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |
