Maybe it's just me but I think we need to concentrate on recruiting a quality striker, if Benteke gets injured we are well short in this department. Not sure when Wickham will be back and I'm sure we can't rely on him with his recent record!!

Antonio Sanabria is my number one, he has bags of potential and is a good little player for Betis.

It's certainly not just you. We definitely need a contingency for a Benteke injury. We were luckily last season that he stayed fit and long may that last but you never know. I've always like Danny Welbeck. He seems to be languishing and doing diddly swat at Arsenal. Also Andy Carrol may be with an enquiry.

We'd never get welbeck but Perez maybe available a different option to a target man option

We definitely need a striker what about a youngster with potential Demarai Gray. Wickham has played less than 30 games in 3 years - far too injury prone.

It's all a balance though. Yes, if they both get injured, we're screwed. Conversely, if both of them stay fit and firing...we've got two quality strikers worthy of first team football...and we can't really play them both. Personally I think we need a nippy little striker that runs in behind to offer us something different. Then we're sorted. Still think Wilf will make a cracking striker one day.

The problem we had is convincing a striker that they will be 2nd/3rd choice. It maybe best to convince a younger forward with potential than an established player.

Lucas Perez on loan as part of the deal for Chambers could be interesting. Offers something quite different to what we have & will be desperate to prove himself.

As said, if Benteke gets inured were screwed. We cant rely on CW to be fit for more than 2-3 games.
