I'm not what you would exactly call a Trump supporter, but six months in and the US stock market has added four trillion dollars of worth to the US. Yet does his pretty much totally negative media report report that? There's a lack of evenness. A lot of what Trump tweets about is...well to put it politely BS but on the unreliability and bias of the mainstream news media he is definitely not wrong.

It's called scrutiny. All western leaders suffer it not just Trump. The more incompetent ones get called out more. Their supporters don't like it so call 'foul' and like guilty children blame everyone else because they can't face up to their own irresponsibility and ineptitude in helping the situation come about in the first place. Like the Hard Brexiteers are now and will be a lot more in the not too distant future if we leave floundering on a no-deal ticket.

If he changed his Environmental views and policies I would have more time for him. Those policies are truly unforgivable.

I don't see how any of what you typed as anything to do with my post. Trump's affect upon the US economy in just six months has been very impressive. Yet, there is a complete lack of even handed analysis. This isn't to say Trump can't and shouldn't be criticised. It is saying that there is a lack of rational balance. Not about climate change probably but with the idea that Trump was wrong to pull out of the Paris accord. There was very little positive in it for the US....Obama signed up to another economic constraint, which impacted other major economies far less. Edited by Stirlingsays (22 Jul 2017 8.57am)

Let's see what happens when the IOUSA hit the looming debt-ceiling.

The liberal-left put up a tirade of abuse and fake news against anyone they see as 'non-progressive'.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

He'll likely fire Jeff Sessions within a few days and then attempt to replace him with someone willing to oust Mueller. All in a desperate bid to end the Russia investigation. Trump has a bias against democracy.

A bit like the BBC and Jeremyites in their attacks on May and the Government who were voted back in democratically as was Brexit. Sure May took a bad decision in calling for an Election believing that she was far more popular than turned pout to be the case. That being said, the disastrous Tory Manifesto and losing of the grey vote for proposals over paying for old age care, were based on difficult decisions that needed to be faced rather than vote-catching false promises. The wiping out of student debt anyone ? Like a great many other people, I worry about Trump and his lack of political nous and knee-jerk comments but he was elected through a democratic process and should be given a chance. If he is making money for America, they should be happy with that. However, the Russian thing is still gaining press attention over there and, if it is reported that he has been involved in any wrong doing, it will probably be 'fake news' anyway.
