Interesting to see if Metz airport is more expensive than Luxembourg. Luxembourg to Metz by train would be like Gatwick to Victoria. Had a situation a few years ago with my passport and had to rebook with little availability left. Murcia in Spain was something like 5 times more than Alicante.

I can't believe it, it's my home town, I used to go there every Sunday for home games. Fierce derby games against the enemy Nancy. Watched them last season on BT Sport.

I looked at the Metz airport website and there aren't any UK destinations shown: I also checked prices on Skyscanner and it offered Gatwick or Stanstead to Luxembourg, unless you wanted to fly via Paris and Nice to get to Metz!

Is this the club's way of saying sorry for offloading Padovano to them all those years ago?!

Easyjet probably do it for £80 or less to Luxembourg plus about £20 return on the train. Can cost more traveling here.
