According one of the football websites here both PSV and us are in for him. Although I like him as a player I doubt if he could play together with Benteke, anyone with different thoughts? Guess he would be way to expensive as a back up striker apart from his miserable form last season. He is well rated here, and though it tells a tale about the state of the Dutch team he has been a regular starter and banging them in (7 goals in 13 games, one of them you may remember as the penalty at Wembley). Maybe one for a loan arrangement as I cannot see him getting much game time at Spurs.

Would probably be a loan. With his lack of impact at Spurs is a big concern. Couldn't score for toffee , with a creative mid of Tottenham. Personally hope we avoid. Correct me if I wrong , he had one good season in holland. He's not a regular 20 goal striker. We call them one season wonder.

Well he had a good season on the second level, then decent one at AZ who screwed Spurs out of a significant part of their tv money. Ajax wanted him but was unwilling to pay the fee AZ negotiated with Spurs. Not sure about him being a one season wonder. Think his willingness to make runs and the pressure about his price tag held him back. Don't think he will make it at Spurs, Kane had his injury and he did have his chance. Would be a decent squad player at worst but doubt Spurs will want that for an expensive signing.

Has an impressive record apart from his period at Spurs. Could be worth a loan with an option to buy.

Ticks many boxes - Hopefully FDB & SP will identify the diamonds (Sakho - 50% increase in value) who will shine when playing for Palace, and obtain options to buy. Care will be needed to ensure that our asking for the buy option is not indicative of great things being expected.

I agree. Set an agreement to buy if successful.

Can't see Spurs agreeing to a loan that in anyway favours us and not them. Personally be happy if we never waste any time trying to deal with them.

With the money tight. I'd personally spend the majority on a creative mid. If he's unsuccessful he join a long list of duff loans. We had in the premier league.

I'm not a Spurs expert by any means, but I'm not sure they have the depth of strikers in their squad behind Kane to be loaning him out when they're competing in 4 competitions this year. No one is going to buy him for anything like what they paid for him so they would need to loan him out to get him going again, but until they buy someone else I can't see him going anywhere. Not sure he's what Palace need in any case.

Nobody in Europe scored more goals from inside the 6 yard box than Janssen did in The Netherlands in season 2015-16.
