Anyone got any thoughts on who Frank might target for transfers?

Click bait reports: Already the likes of Joel Veltman and Siem de Jong have been linked with a move to Palace if De Boer does become manager.

Maybe we should wait until he's officially appointed.

Brief pause between waves of speculation, lazy journalism, click bait and bulls*** tweets.

Maybe we should wait until he's officially appointed. To excited sorry! Guess our academy is now going to be a lot more attractive for top talent wanting a path to Prem football. COYP!

All previously played under De Boer: Vurnon Anita has been released by Newcastle. Would be good competition for Ward Viktor Fischer - Boro would probably be happy to get rid now they've been relegated - cover for the wings. Jaïro Riedewald should be our no.1 target for a CB. Would be much cheaper than Sakho and highly rated.

Riechedly Bazoer (midfield) and El Ghazi (winger) could have been good but both only just moved clubs in January. Amin Younes (winger) looks tricky in a Hazard/Messi style, we haven't had anyone like that since Moses in the Championship. I think he'll want to find another Christian Eriksen from somewhere in Europe; neither Cabaye or Puncheon probably won't cut it for him as the most advanced midfielder, honestly we probably won't have heard of many of the players he might bring in, was the same with Milivojevic.

Why? Becuase our soon to be manager has a track record of bringing through talent from academy to first team. I'd say that is a big draw for a player when deciding which academy to go to. Shall I go to United where there manager hardly ever brings players through. Or shall I go palace where FdB has a track record of bringing players in to the first team. I'm not saying we're now going to sign all the players we want but it's surely is a plus. FdB has blooded lots and lots of players and I'm sure Steve Parish is aware of this when making his choice. Frank I read wants to build something with us, part of that I'd imagine is a better academy. Quote: THREE KEY PLAYERS DEVELOPED Frank de Boer led Ajax’s youth academy in 2007, with Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur), Toby Alderweireld (Southampton on loan from Atletico Madrid), and Daley Blind (Manchester United) being some of the major beneficiaries of his tutelage then in the academy, and soon after in the first team when he took over the managerial role in 2010.
