Hi, As a Palace fan who has watched Darren Ambrose's wonder goal against Man Utd a few times, it always makes me smile when I see Mark Wealleans celebrating whilst holding his two youngest children. Sadly as we all know Mark passed away in February. Whilst I never personally knew Mark, I feel as a member of the Palace family I thought I would like to do something to help people with Cancer so I decided to sign up to do the ONE DAY 72 HOLES fundraising event in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Support. Whilst golf seems a very sedate way to fundraise I think that 72 holes back to back is going to be interesting to say the least, especially as the average 4 ball (that hit in a straight line) takes 4 hours to do 18 holes. Due to my recent lack of golfing ability I know that its going to take a tad longer!! The first Tee is booked for 5am on Friday 23rd June, miners helmet complete with flood light is packed in case its dark when we finish. If you do want to support please go to our Just giving page that’s been set up by our captain [Link] and pledge but don’t forget to select gift aid so that the charity can maximise on the benefit. Thank you in advance

Thank you to those who have donated so far to this great cause, your support is much appreciated. I'm heading off to the course now and hopefully by the time I'm finished this evening we will have a new manager.
