We all love the beautiful game but there are a lot of things about it that p*ss me off. Here are the 5 things I hate: 5. Owners ruining clubs with their stupid expectations (thankfully not us)

The bloke behind me moaning Two seasons ago my biggest gripe was water, or what I hoped was water, occasionally dripping on my head in the Holmesdale. However, it seems to have been fixed now.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Five Things I hate about football currently:- 1. Match rescheduling to suit everyone else except the fans of the respective teams involved. Supporters always come last!! 2. The indecision on going ahead with'Safe Standing' 3. Extortionate fees earned by players agents / management companies in connection with transfers. There should be a worldwide set fee sanctioned by FIFA irrespective of players transfer value. 4. Lack of ambition by the FA and Premier league to want to modernise / progress. They need to clear out old members and have'time limited'appointments to keep their boards revolving. Fresh and reflective of current, modern and innovative thinking. 5. New TV and media contract The money is incredible but it's suffocating the game and opportunities in the UK for home grown talent under the weight of the money.

Five things I hate about football: 1 - Foreign owners who don't really give a s*** and foreign investors thinking they'll make money out of football. 2 - The notion that some clubs are 'big clubs' and therefore somehow more worthy. Just f*ck off! 3 - The Premier League for undermining the very foundations on which the top of the pyramid is built. 4 - Players wages (and agents fees) which are totally out of control. No player is worth more than a fireman or a nurse but we'll pay them silly money anyway. 5 - Sky for inventing football in 1992, they really f*cked everything up!
Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

1. The notion that everyone is only interested in Manchester Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle. 2. Why every premier team is not forced to give £10 million to Be put into a fund to be split with all the other clubs. Or to give £4m to Championship fund, £3m to first, £2m to second and £1 to conference. 3. Referees who think it's all about them. 4. The Arsenal/Wenger saga that rears its ugly head every two years. Can't wait for the next riveting installment. 5. Mark Hughes and Stoke City.
