Hi Guys,
Just wanted to register on here and say hi ahead of our very first Premier League game!
We're all not sure if we believe it's real yet!
Can't wait for the season to start.
Do any of you know much about Lil old Huddersfield Town? Looking forward to a new away day? Think it'll be 6 easy points?
We're certainly favourites for relegation (again) 🙄
Hopefully we can prove the pundits and bookies wrong again this year!
Anywho, looking forward to a trip to Selhurst Park, hope to see some friendly Palace fans along the way!
Terrier!

Welcome to the PL. I am sure the Terriers will prove many critics wrong and if Burnley stayed up, why cant you guys?! And you do have a superb manager! However, I do hope Palace get three points from you in August

Was very happy for you all, anything is possible and if you did not know we have two divisions in the Prem, the top 7 and the rest, so anything could happen really, the championship is more exciting but the prem more quality!I think you will do better then Brighton and WBA this season so it is who will be the 3rd to join them? If you dont get a goal scorer it could be you.... Good luck and enjoy!

The Red and Blue never leaves our Palace empire,!

Welcome. I have mixed feelings about playing newly promoted teams first game of the season. Will all transfer dealings be sorted ? You may not be as strong on opening day as you will be after the window closes. However, the guys that got you up will be bang up for it. Could be a banana skin for us but obviously I hope not. Good luck for the rest of the season anyway.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

Welcome to the Premier League. Have to say enjoyed watching the Terriers on TV last season. I thought your team played some very entertaining football and deserved your victory in the play offs. Think you will upset one or two apple carts next season but hopefully not ours. Good luck for the coming season.

Curly eagles dad, 45 years of Palace. Never ever a dull moment, Oh Happy Days

Going by our home form last season you could not have wished for an easier start to the Premier League!!!

Best of luck for the season, hope you enjoy it but not at our expense.

Oh and please make sure you take 6 points off Brighton, I will enjoy seeing them go down as much as seeing us qualify for Europe!

As for Huddersfield, I have some rotten memories of going there in the past.I will never forget late 90's when I travelled all the way up to watch you beat us 4-0 and then 7-1 the following year. A certain Marcus Stewart I remember scoring sh1t loads.

Going by past seasons if I were a betting man it is a nailed on draw at Selhurst, although I would like to think we will be too strong for you.

Is Sean Scannell still there?

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

Last time I saw Huddersfield play at Selhurst in the top division was when my old pa took me as a very wee nipper to my first ever Palace match. So foggy I couldn't see the Holmesdale goal from The Whitehorse

And...er... Dougie Freedman says sorry for sending you down in 2000 with just a couple of minutes left.

An affliction from which many of our players since have suffered.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Well in that case I'll sincerely be hoping for a similar score line to the 90's! 😬

Yes, Sean Scannell is still with us, he's been out injured most of this season, I'm not sure he'll make the team much this year either so may go out on loan if no-one comes in for him.
He's a good impact player from the bench but just hasn't had the game time this year.

Welcome to the PL & it maybe your first PL match but as you are aware not your first top league match, having played in Division One, even Champs three times!

Palace fans should never take any games easily!! After all we were the only team to lose at home to Burnley & we lost 4-0 at home to Sunderland (Sorry Palace fans to bring back memories of those matches).

I see the last six matches at Selhurst have all been draws.

If you are coming to Selhurst & never been here don't forget we are a hard ground to find as per the Media!

I'm sure you can stay up, I don't know your team too well in respect to how much experience your players have at this level but that maybe the kind of player you need?

The pyramid to beat all pyramids!!

Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in?
