Had the privilege of playing in a Charity game with the great man on Wednesday night. He works part time as a Courier at my company amongst other things he does so I got him along for our Sales v Ops challenge in aid of the Manchester and London terrorist attacks at Gander Green Lane Sutton. Top lad, mixed in with the lads and even had a row with the ref on our 3-2 win. I can claim that I scored a left foot volley from his flick on which was ruled out for pushing! Will never forget that winner in Cardiff to get us into the Prem!

We love you,we love you,we love you and where you play we follow,we follow,we follow, cos we support the Palace, the Palace, the Palace and thats the way we like it,we like,we like it...WOAH,WOAH,WOAH!!!

A winner is a dreamer who never gives up...

Nice one. He was managing a non-league team (I think it was Walton Casuals) that came down to play my local team a while back and I didn't realise until afterwards. Was a bit gutted!

Brilliant! I know he's a big lad now but has he still a good footballer?

Great stuff JE. Great man indeed these days I hear?

I always loved the reverse header he scored against Sunderland (I think) in the play-offs.

Works part time as a courier. Looks like Neil unfortunately missed the boat, when it comes to the amount of money in football nowadays. Even players in the championship are on £20,000 per week.

Or if we're talking play off final scoring legends, how about Super Kev as gaffer?
