Would you Sell Cabaye to fund deal for Sakho deal?

Big Sam proved how important Cabaye been since Jan, he been the player, we thought we signed. When he fired Newcastle up to 5th place. Given some interest shown in Cabaye. The only logical way of us buying Sakho is to sell Cabaye.

No; we need them both, but if Cabaye does want out we still have to replace him and that wouldn't be cheap.

Parish keeps mentioning ffp and with him mentioning bringing in 2. It a massive concern. Personally think we need about 5 new players, if Ledley, Campbell and flamini are released.

If Sean dyche is our manager. He's a stickler 442. Does Cabaye work in a 442 or would he get overrun.

It would now seem that the Sakho deal is very unlikely to happen so I don't think the sell-to-buy question will arise. We need to try to retain our best if we're to progress as a club. We can get a decent CB for half of that £30m and, valuable to us as he was, we're not a one man team. Edited by bexleydave (02 Jun 2017 1.31pm)

I sincerely hope that, whoever takes over, doesn't try to impose their favoured system on us without finding out what works best for us. There's a case for going 4-4-2 under certain circumstances during a game, but to play that formation whatever is the hallmark of the dinosaur, especially when you're up against sides with five in midfield and might explain Burnley's abysmal away record. We need some open thinking, not a Mike Bassett-style "Palace will be playing 4-4 fcuking 2".

No I want to keep all our best players if we can't afford sakho go and get kone from sunderland he would be cheaper and sell all the dead wood like ledley flamini Campbell would even sell Wickham as well as I've never rated the waste of space
